ICU-TV
Saving time is an all-important aspect of working within a modern healthcare environment, and the ICU-TV system means staff no longer have to waste time on mundane tasks such as answering doors and finding colleagues, thus optimizing patient care. ICU-TV allows staff to manage visitors and keep in touch with colleagues instantly from the patient’s bedside, so infection control is improved by reducing the number of trips in and out of a patient area.
Dual mode screens allow staff to use the same screen for both the Clinical Information System and ICU-TV. When a call is being made, the monitor automatically switches to the video mode and then back again afterwards.
Keeping in touch with colleagues has never been easier, simply use the address book to find the bay or office and one touch on the screen will start a video call. Patient cameras fixed discreetly in the ceiling allow colleagues to switch views from the personal camera to the patient to allow remote monitoring and training scenarios without having too many staff bedside.
Managing visitors is made easy by having a camera and an entry button at the visitor entrance. Once verified, the nurse can admit the visitor and switch on ‘follow-me’ lights to guide them to the waiting area or directly to the patient’s bed.
